Lack of awareness or planned?

This isn't going to be a long post. Too many professionals have already written about it and will write more in days to come. That being said...

Kansas City Chiefs Player Harrison Butker, recently spoke at the Benedictine College graduation ceremony and made several "controversial" remarks about the LGBTQ+ community, working women, abortion rights.

He's rich, white, straight, male AND a football player. I don't really expect him to be enlightened on any social issue. When rich, white, straight men are on the same page as me, it is usually due to formal education (i.e. college) or some life experience that woke them up. So I'm not going to dive deep into why he's wrong. He's wrong. Period.

But he can't be ignorant of the backlash that he was going to get. So in my mind, he only is doing this to gear up some future career he has in mind. Conservative pod-caster, professional speaker, talk show host on Fox News? I'm not sure but I definitely think this was money motivated.

Also, I always find it a bit funny when guys like him speak as if they are the epitome of masculinity.
